Gerry Anderson Kickstarter Projects Top £500K

Gerry Anderson Kickstarter projects on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter have topped half a million pounds since August 2013.

The two Anderson Entertainment run Kickstarter projects for Gemini Force One (£33,463) and Firestorm (£88,931) have raised £122,394 for the Thunderbirds’ creators unfinished projects from over 2000 fans in 50 countries.
The Thunderbirds Co-operative board game campaign by Modiphius raised £234,602 from 3167 backers, and gave the table top game a real boost before it is due to be released for Thunderbirds’ 50th anniversary later this year.
Most recently Thunderbirds 1965 has become the biggest ever UK film & TV project, and is on course to raise over £200,000 (£175,000 as of 3rd August 2015). The project will produce three brand new episodes of classic Thunderbirds, which will be filmed at a unit on Stirling Road, Slough Trading Estate – the home of the original series from 1964-66.
The half-a-million mark for these Gerry Anderson kickstarter projects – from fans all over the world, and of all ages – is a fantastic demonstration of the continued ability of Gerry Anderson projects to entertain and excite people of all ages!
